When Can We Go Back?

It took over 20 years of hard work by Indigenous Peoples representatives to have a declaration affirming the collective rights of Indigenous peoples to be adopted by the United Nations.

Most of the countries in Asia have adopted this United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. Still, this documentary is a story of Karen indigenous peoples in Thailand, illustrating why we need this declaration and what can happen when the basic human rights of indigenous peoples are ignored.
